Our other partner school is in Opole in Poland. The school has 160 pupils and 18 teachers. They also do not have many computers or many resources compared to what we have in our school. They also do more drama and music than we do and celebrate many festivals. Poland has not yet joined the EEC but hope to in the future. In the meantime they use zloty instead of Euros. We have learned how to write some Polish words and later on we will learn how to pronounce them. Opole is a beautiful, old city dating from the 10th century. The market place is the heart of the city and is surrounded by very beautiful tenement houses.
