Through observation both at the seashore and in the follow up work in class we were able to monitor the children's learning. During the
follow up tasks in the
different curriculum areas we tried to keep in mind the suitability of the work
in terms of age, matching task to ability and the interest and educational value
of the activities. The pupils have completed a before and
after questionnaire to indicate their interest, knowledge and attitude to the
project which allows us in some way to measure the impact of this project on the
pupils.
